with the LORD" (2Cor 5:8)
Praise the Lord to all our web site visitor, We are sadden at this

Honoring the Co-founder of the
House of Prayer
Elder Clinton Welch
We are honoring Elder Clinton Welch on his 89th birthday celebration on December 7,2008 at the
House of Prayer Church IV, located at 2112 Mitchell Ct. this event will begin at 4:00 pm. Speaker for this event will be Suffigan
Bishop Henry W. Seemoore of the House of Prayer V.
Elder Welch is the oldest and one of the first members of the House of Prayer, his contribution
to the work of the Lord is priceless. The scripture tells us to put our hand to the plow, Elder Welch, became the plow
at times under Pastors Davis's ministry. His faithfulness to his pastor even when he was told by many, that he should
not follow a woman, Elder Welch never felt he he was following a woman " he was following God who at the time was using
a woman". As God used Deborah to lead the nation of Isreal, God provided her with Barak to care for and lead his
people. Elder Welch played the role of Barak in this ministry. He is a true evangelist, always wanting and willing to tell
someone about Jesus.
We are to give honor where honor is due, Elder Welch is truely one worth of honor and double
honor. We of the all the House's of Prayer, would like to thank God for you and your faithfulness to the work of the Lord.

| Deacon Booker T. Davis |
Deacon Booker T. Davis Birthday Revival 2009
House of Prayer IV hosted a three day revival in honor of Deacon Booker T. Davis.
Guest speaker for this event was Suffagan Bishop Edward T McGhee of Apha & Omega Church of Jesus Christ, Champaigne Il.
We would like to thank all the saint that came out to help us honor Deacon Davis. He celebrated his 90th birthday on February
14th, Deacon Davis enjoyed sharing his day with the saints. For those that may not know, Deacon Davis is the husband of Dr
Pastor Ella M. Davis, they were married for 63 years until recently the Lord called her home.
We celebrated his bithday and also took this time out to honor him for his contribution to the
ministry of the Lord. We plan on honoring him again and again, we think to much to often the mate of the leader in the
church get over looked, as we know without the right mate a minister can easiely be hindered, from being all that God has
called them to be. We at this time thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for Deacon Booker T. Davis, because of his unselfish
sacrifices he made while Pastor Davis ministered to the saints while she was with us. We ask that you pray for Deacon Davis
daily, he is recovering from a stroke he suffered in January, and join us in thanking God for him.
